Are we going to reveal all the participants and their entries? I know I would love some constructive criticism and helpful feedback!

The Category Winners were
Mike (Bowhntr) won Ribs and Larry took 1st place in Things with Wings, Big Hunks of Meat and Anything goes.

In the past, other than the winners of each category, we've never disclosed who did what.

But I will say that Bowhntr, Larry, Laura, Rich, Nathan, Ken, Papa T, Puff, Rob, DJ, Drink Some Ale and Gator will all be getting some of Gator's new sauce!

We appreciate all the pictures and the work that went into them. Should mention that for Big Hunks of Meat category Mikes entry wasn't posted till the contest was nearly over. Puffs entries were a couple of hours later getting posted also. My fault and I truely regret it happened.

Now if y'all want to own up to your work, no law against that. 8)

It was a blast!

I'll share mine
TWW-Smoked/Grilled wings. This is how I'll do wings from now on. Normally I'm a wing burner. Smoked 'em @ 220 for and hour and half or so, grilled to tighten up the skin. Rolled in Bud wing sauce. The Boss and DIL wiped 'em out.

BHM-Reversed seared sirloin roast. Don't try this at home boys and girls, the taste was good. Wrong cut of meat, tough and chewy. I probably messed up.

Ribs-Pork and beef ribs together. I just can't get it together for ribs in TD's. Try again.

ATG-Crawfish. Let me tell ya those little buggers are hard to photo outside. I did a trial run a couple of weeks ago in full sun, they turn out looking monochromatic. Partial sun they all blend together.

It was a blast! I had two smokers going, grill going, boiler on. Running around like a chicken that lost it's head. Lookin'in forward to the next!

Congrats to Larry,Heck of a job!
Thanks DJ for the nice comps.

Till next time,
Yupp

I could only enter 1 catagory this round, for various reasons.

ATG-008, a Spinach-Artichoke dip I made for the "Big Game".

It was also the fuel for my "fire" the other day.

I was in the ATG category with the potato wedges. They were topped with pepperoni slices, garlic, butter, salt and red pepper, and mozz./cheddar cheese! Served with big globs of sour cream and parsley! I had to work all weekend, so it was the best I could do! Didn't care about winning, just glad to enter for once!!

Loved everyone's entries. It was a hard choice!

My stuff:
Ribs #5
TWW #6
ATG #6

Got humbled this time these were all things I made for the Superbowl party and weren't ready until 4:30 with 5:18 game time. I had to take all pictures outside where I couldn't control the light and had harsh shadows with guests and hungry wife waiting.

Ribs: There was to be 2 slabs see ATG for that story. And the pictured slab was directly off the pit & so darn hot when I sliced it I did a terrible job.

TWW: Since it was a football event I decided to make a football chicken and made "laces" out of turkey bacon. Those laces got my chicken DQ'd.

ATG: I picked up a cryovac package of spares from Wally World clearly marked Fresh Tender Spareribs that turned out to be three rib tips packed side by side, no time to change so my guests would be treated to "tips". The chicken became non-political coming off the pit by losing both of it's wings (look close) so he became relagated to only the ATG category. The sausage was good. Also made some ABTs but they didn't made the picture because of time constraints.

I had fun once again and would like to congratulate all on a great Throwdown Down and I'll pass the baton to Larry.

I actually entered every category, but my picture taking skills need some work. Although I knew that I wasn't getting good pictures at the time - I was working towards a fund raiser and that took priority over plating. Although I think the overhead florescent lights were the killer. No complaints about the taste at all, but the pictures didn't get a single vote anywhere - not even mine.

My stuff:
Rib #3
BHoM #3
TWW #2
ATG #7

Your photography is beautiful Laura but you threw potatoes to a bunch of carnivores. If you'd have put a hot dog on that plate you might have won.
