Well, a day late, but here are the folks who competed, and their entries. It was a great throwdown, and some really excellent entries! I'm going to take a short TD break, but plan to get another one up and running soon with a different theme!

Thanks, Counselor, you deserve a break BUT ONCE AGAIN - - - you did an awesome job AS ALWAYS  :salut:

As for my Cook it all came from Hebert's Specialty Meats Market in The Woodlands.
Pure Pork Link Sausage (that we are addicted to now)
Bacon Wrapped, Cream Cheese and Jalapeno Stuffed Pork Tenderloin
Country Style/Farmer's Cut/Jack's Ribs bone-in and glazed with Homemade Fig Sauce

Hilarious part to this cook was I was worried about cooking them at the same time and not undercooking or overcooking something. HOWEVER, after exactly one hour over Kingsford charcoal in my ECB everything was ready to come off. (coals at very bottom and meat at very top - average 300F) Even tho my Wiffy is not a big meat person she held her own with this Q and there was nothing left after Lunch the next day.

Thanks again to everyone that Entered and that Voted :salut:

Naturally I didn't know whose entry was whose, but as luck will have it, your's was the one I voted for, and I will tell you why. Since we didn't have the opportunity to taste anything, I went by the fact you had numerous items and they all looked excellent. Much harder in my opinion to serve multiple items at the same time and have them all at their peak at the same time. Lots of great entries, just appreciated your effort the most. I will be throwing my hat in the ring for the next one. ;) ;)

Thank you so much for doing this!

OUP - your plate was outstanding.

All of y'all should be proud of your entries.

I did a pork butt, smoked Bologna and some smoked shiner bratwurst.

A word on the brats - they suck and I wanted them out of my freezer :) I'm a little picky about my brats. My inlaws bring me fresh ones from Protivin Iowa.

Sooner, I am originally from Iowa. Will be spending some time up there August as well as WI where the Mrs is from. I will be loading up the freezer and ice box in the motorhome with brats and beef sticks while I am up there. Ross's locker in Glenwood City WI. and Fairbank meat locker in fairbank IA.

What is it about that area that makes the brats so good? My inlaws started making deliveries about 15 years ago when MIL went home to visit. Don't think I've eaten a Johnsonville since :)

They still have a lot of locally owned meat lockers up there. And the people still support them. Understand, that in Iowa in particular, but a lot of those midwest states, the local economies are agriculture. And most of the meat in peoples freezers up there have come straight from the farm, to the local meat locker, and to there freezer. And it is all top quality stuff. Having grown up there, we rarely bought meat from the super market. It was done in either half or whole beef and the same with hogs. They would get shaved ham form the butcher. Bologna as well.

Where I live in Cypress outside of Houston, there are very few meat markets available. There is Ainsworth, out in On Egypt, and there is one that has opened up in tomball. But there are not many good ones. I think Boots may have a good one close to him up there. Some of the smaller towns have one, but not all that many. Bellville, Wiemer, that type of thing.

This is where I will be getting my stuff from.
