gotta get me one of those sword skewers like that feller in the picture above. What could be cooler than walkin into the Hacienda Boots, waving a bunch of skewered ribeyes around, and hollering, "Herrrrrrre's Johnny!".

And here they are, right on Googly shopping network, made by genuine mad Mongols and belligerent Brazilians !! They even got Weiner Swords    , complete with matching masks.... creepy. There's so many things wrong with that I can't even count 'em all.

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Alright, it's time to spice it up.

I'm sending the winner a prize. And, before you ask, you don't get to know in advance! Trust me though, you'll like it.

Now, the caveat is, if the winner is one of our international members, I'll have to see what I can do there. Gonna have to find that particular rule book.

There may, or may not, be participation trophies as well.

Kidding. There will not be participation trophies.

Let's sweeten the pot to encourage wider participation

Winner will receive a custom trivet made using corks and a "couple other things" made by Egghead. What's a cork trivet you ask? Here is a photo of a few

There are four of you TBBQFers that have received these priceless trivets as a result of winning a throwdown - if you have received one in the past, you will just receive the "couple other things" LOL.

I apologize in advance to our friends overseas - not sure about shipping overseas.

Good luck lads and lasses

Those trivets look nice!! I should start saving the corks from the wine that the wifey drinks and get creative like that.

FWIW, just sent my Entry in and at first I just tried copying and pasting that didn't "send" so I just typed it in and everything worked just fine. No biggie just wanted everyone to be "aware". :D

I edited the email in the OP. Copied and pasted and it sent.

YMMV!

Hmmmm.... might be a good one to try - - - BUT - - - any chance of extending the deadline 24 hours? After cookin' and eatin' and drinkin' and cleanin' and nappin' it may be a challenge to get a photo sent. No big deal if that's not doable. Thanks for spearheading the T/D :thap:

Sent a request to the higher ups already to see if we could wrangle that. Will let you know.

I'm assuming it's above my pay-grade.
