Oktober Fest Throwdown?

I used to go through each index but lately I find that by using the "View new posts" link, I don't miss any new posts.

It hasn't died yet, but I think I need to come up with a better name as Oktober fest has come and gone. When does deer season start/end in Texas?

So, will we have a beer season sausage throwdown? Gotta use beer in the sausage or pic? I don't know if ya'll set dates for entry, how about two weeks from tomorrow? New to this so if I'm stepping on toes let me know..............

When we announce a ThrowDown there is plenty of notice before the password (to be printed on the back of a business card and included in the pic) is published and then there is usually a two week window before we collect the pics from folks.

Don't know about Texas, but Maine's season doesn't start 'til Oct 30th. It's Moose season now.

One pic per category. And you send the pic to me to be posted, and I post all the pics at one time in the poll.
