I just got a butt on the CG with some hickory chunks keeping it company! Supposed to snow tomorrow, so had to get it in today. I found some Royal Oak lump that I'm using for the first time. The air smells good! I'm waiting on hubby to email me and let me know what camera to use!

Well, leave it up to Chuck to be grillin while the sirens are going off and a tornado touches down about 1/4 mile from the house!

Had planned on beef & chicken fajita's, home made salsa and pico de gallo, and a few margaritas. Had everything but the margaritas.

Power was out for most of the cook, so I ended up using an iron skillet on the coals for the onions and started heating the tortillas up on the grill, but the power came on and I ran in and used the microwave real quick!

Was planning on taking some nice pics of dinner, but with the storms and all, it didn't happen.

Well, my wife came home from work with a twisted ankle (again) and was in alot of pain. I didn't want to start drinking margaritas and then have to drive her to the ER or something. I made a big ol' pitcher of sweet tea instead.

that's a fine lookin meal rich, looks like a small learning curve for you. 8)

i split a rack o' lamb and marinated it in 1c. evoo fresh chopped rosemary and fresh pressed garlic for a couple hours. seared at 500, then let rest till the cooker was back down to 350.

Image

in the meantime i threw some sweet It. sausage on the indirect side and some marinated asparagus on the direct side.

Image

then the lamb and asparagus went on a raised grid till the lanb hit 140 internal, pulled the sausage later at 160 internal

Goood looking food !

I'm just reheat some pulled pork from the a freezer pack.

Darn...now I'll have to make some more to stock up the freezer again.
