Below are the finish pics.
The Lemon Pepper Rub I would try again. I liked it.
The bird roasted at 325° for 1 3/4 hours. Skin wasn't leathery or rubbery but wasn't "crisp" either. Guess you need some sugar based sauce to get that. Tators done in the cooker. Beens out of a can and nuked The Mrs wanted beans at the last minute, what can I say

Well it doesn't look all that good, but it tasted good Twice bakes got a little darker than I would have liked. I'm not big on chicken, but its what the wife wanted and the sample packs are too small for a brisket or butt.
The Lemon Pepper was above average. Not too (lemonie if thats a word) but no too salty either. The rub got through the skin and flavored the meat.
Since I'm 3/4 Scandinavian & 1/4 Deutch, I haven't had but opportunity to tast Creole cooking. That said the Creole rub may have been spot on and I wouldn't know it. Only know that I'd pass on it in the store.
Don't know what I'll do with the remaining samples. Steaks/Chops/Burgers maybe.
Still looking for a good price on a ham so I can try that other sample from Wild Bills. Looks to be way to sweet to me to put on ribs.
