Mother's Day Surf & Turf

Postby tex_toby » Sun May 10, 2009 8:09 pm

Tonight, I cooked an impromptu meal for Mother's Day. My wife is one of the best mothers I know, so I wanted to make her something special.

I started the day off with these...

Couple of Ribeyes I found on sale at Krogers this evening

Left - seasoned with RedEye Red Meat seasoning from Fred's Music & BBQ & Sea Salt, Right - Montreal Steak Seasoning & Sea Salt.

Skewered Shrimp seasoned with Todd's Dirt Crabby Seafood Seasoning

On the Grill with pecan for smoke

Plated up with a loaded baked tater & two peperoncini peppers

Enjoy - we sure did! :)

20" x 40" Party Gator Pit
Custom Mobile Stick Burner
Summerset TRL 32" Built-In Grill
Weber Q2200
48" Custom Firepit
Bertello Pizza Oven

I can't always please everybody. I'm not bacon.
