Steaks, Shrooms, and Potatoes

Postby OSD » Tue Mar 03, 2009 7:30 pm

I had a couple trimmed up boneless ribeyes in the freezer, so dinner they were. :D Also did some potato souffles and sauted shrooms. :D

Plated with shrooms sauted in butter and truffle oil and souffle that fell. Didn't keep a close enough eye on them. But they still tasted good . :D

Looks great as usual Jim but I don't know about purple potatoes.
Bet Dr. Seuss could have done something with them.

Not really, they are a creamy tasting potato. I just like the cool colors when making dishes. :D You can get potatoes with the meat of the potato in several different colors. :D

Good info on taters.........
