Well supposed to have a house full of grand chillins over starting Friday so got instructions from the Warden to cook a pork loin. Guess I do that just to stay outta trouble.

Looks like I'll be putting a turkey in the smoker on Sunday.......been a while since I have done one, seems like most of what I do revolves around the comp meats.

Just the typicall stuff... Briskets, Spare Ribs, Sausage and some Salmon. Having a get together with some family and friends out at the in-laws farm. Cooking, drinking, card playing, lie telling etc... Should be a fun weekend!

Well the pork loin has been cancelled. We having sandwiches. Just spoke to old 3 Star Redneck from Traders Village in Grand Prarie. He seems prepared to kick some booty. Sure wished they was having a Calcutta out there..I would try to buy him if it wasn't too outreagous.

Two chuck roasts (6.87 lbs total) and 2 butts (16.75 lbs total) smoking away right now. Got a party tomorrow, so the food's cooking.

Saturday, dunno. Some ABTs for the party, might make some beans as well.

Sunday, dunno. I'm expecting a load of leftovers from the party, but I may be surprised. I've seen this group eat 'cue. 23 lbs of meat might not be enough.

attended a brisket class on Wednesday to learn how to perfect mine so it's briskets for sunday. Maybe split some chickens and whatever else will fit on the smoker :D
