Bacon/Basil wrapped shrimp and sea scallops

Postby bowhnter » Mon Jun 02, 2008 7:54 am

I too made it a seafood weekend.

Last night made some bacon and basil leaf wrapped shrimp, and sea scallops on rosemary skewers. It's nice to be able to walk outside and grab your herbs...can't wait for my tomatoes and peppers.

Sides were tomato, onion and cucumber salad, a grilled vidalia onion, grilled corn, grilled cracked wheat bread topped with rosemary, thyme and garlic, and some purple peas.

Sounds and looks great! A fresh tomato and cucumber salad sounds really good right now.

I gotta quit looking at this forum during the week. How am I supposed to stick to a diet at the same time I look at these pictures of such great grub?
Good looking seafood!
