Freezer dive lamb chops

Postby bowhnter » Sat Sep 30, 2023 9:58 pm

Time to clean the freezer out before some hopefully cooler weather

First up was a sauce that was a trial for next weekend.
Dijon mustard, horseradish sauce, Wooster, EVOO, red wine vinegar, parsley.

Sliced potatoes, with carrots, and a bit of onion into the easy bake.

While the charcoal gets going, the chops get dusted with a bit of Montreal.

Onto the Weber 26.

Time to go check on the taters and carrots.

Lamb chops are the wife’s favorite. Mine by proxy and those are righteous.

That looks tasty. Lamb is great meat. Can you say a little more about the sauce?

I actually made it as a trial for some picanha I’m having next weekend.

The recipe was
1 TBS Dijon mustard
2 TBS horseradish sauce
1 TBS EVOO
2 TBS Red wine vinegar
1 TBS chopped parsley

I added the 1 TBS of Worstershire, I think that’s better.

Then I made another sample using stone ground mustard instead of Dijon.

I think I like the stone ground better, but my wife liked the Dijon better…so ya know what that means
