Do Wonders Never Cease

Postby OldUsedParts » Sun Apr 18, 2021 2:08 pm

Today's Lunch was basically a S-O-S except for the astonishing FACT that my Wife said she wanted part of my Steak Today    I like my Steaks Screaming and Bleeding and she knew that but when it came time to cut her off a piece, she put it on her plate and sliced off a bite. "Wow that is the best that I have ever eaten !" Then she finished every bite and the rest of her sides. I am in total Shock.   :salut:

The piece that she wanted was the small muscle section
at the top that is almost triangular shaped

That’s a nice looking steak. Glad she liked it too.

My wife is slowly coming around. I’ve got her down to medium. Eventually she’ll be at medium rare I hope. She grew up on well done and it’s been a long process to get her past that. A lot of me saying - oh I’m sorry I tried to get it burnt to your liking but just didn’t give it long enough.

My Parents and Grandparents did the same thing BUT it was because they grew up during a time when Refrigeration was not as good as it is now. My Daddy In Law was a great cook except for Round Steak (or as I called it Shoe Soles)
