Pork sirloins and Pecan

Postby Norway Joe » Sat Apr 10, 2021 1:18 pm

It's been a while since we did this so about time.

Rubbed the mini steaks with EVOO and SB Pecan rub. The Pecan rub is awesome on these.

Grilled them on the gasser and brushed them SB honey bbq sauce at the end.

Served with a green salad, Cesar dressing and pommel noisettes.

Quick, easy and tasty. Could even be healthy if I didn't add the cheddar dip. :laughing7:ImageImage

Sailor: we use these potatoes a lot. They taste great. Buy them frozen and just put them in the oven for 20 minutes.

However I think you would be very disappointed coming here for grocery shopping.

There are 3 separate grocery chains. Two of them are owned by 2 persons, owning 1 each and the 3rd is a cooperative. There are no free-standing grocery stores, except for 2 butchers downtown. The 2 persons are among the richest persons in our country

With such a little competition the prices are high and the variety offered is limited. Add on top of that very strict regulations of what we can import of meat and cheese due to farmer protection.

Our available selection of groceries isn't much better than what was available in the old eastern Europe.

That's a little sad to hear. But you still make wonderful meals.
