Anxiously Awaiting Tomorrow's Grilling

HEB, had some "Waggies" on sale and I couldn't pass this one up. It's been in the Freezer during the Freeze and I've just now had a promise of weather worth firing up the ECB. :wav:

Nice piece of meat. Looking forward to the cooking.

Can't believe you can get it for only 10 usd lbs! No way we can possibly get it under 38 usd lbs.

We can’t even get wagyu in the supermarket. I’m guessing maybe a butcher shop but have never seen any. Let me guess either campfire or espresso rub. Or maybe a little of each?

Checked again. We can get the same piece of American wagyu from Snake River farm. 91 usd lbs.

I'm really looking forward to the taste experience and will probably wish I'd bought the entire pile on that shelf. :dont:

Haha. Not going to hijack parts thread but meat is expensive here. Brisket too. It's hard to get since it's not a common cut. A 14 lbs Brisket from Creekstone farms, Arkansas sells for 374 usd here.

Not a problem, Joe, just post up what you're pondering and don't worry. I can put it back on the Subject, if it needs it :salut:

"Never count your Grillin, till the Grillin's done"

First of all the Wagyu Steak was tender, juicy and tasted great, However, except for $$$$, I think I prefer the Grass Fed Center Cut Beef Tenderloins over the Waggie. :dont: :chef:

The two cuts both taste great but differently for some reason.
I always use Suckle Busters Campfire Steak Seasoning :!:
