Friday Flat Iron Steaks

Postby Smoking Piney » Fri Aug 28, 2020 2:21 pm

It's my last day of my bachelor week vacation. I decided to cap it off with a couple of small flat iron steaks. :D

I love this cut - great, rich beef flavor and very tender if cooked right.

Rubbed with SB Campfire - the best steak rub I've ever used on steaks and EGADS!, I need to order more! :D

Cooked over hot coals with mesquite chips for smoke.

Campfire was the first thing I thought of when I saw the Subject Title - - - Flat Irons are a perfect spot for enjoying that seasoning  :chef:  :salut:

I do love it - - - heck I've even used it in place of SPG on occasions.
