It was a steak night

Postby OSD » Wed Mar 05, 2008 8:51 pm

I couldn't pass up buying a couple nice porterhouse steaks that were on sale for $4.29 a pound. :D Also picked up some sliced shrooms to with them. :D

Image
Marinaded the shrooms in white wine, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, some herbs, and couple tablespoons of Hoochie Mama. Let them soak for about 3 hours.

Image
All seasoned up with a grilling spice mix.

Onto the hot grill

All done and coming off the grill

Ready to eat. :D Mmmm 8)

Those grill marks aren't straight, and it's entirely too juicy. Now, friend that I am, I can't let you eat that. Send it to me at . . .

You'd think that after 10 days of eating steak and lobster on the cruise ship she'd be tired of steak. Good looking eats :D

DATs, I was surprised when she said they didn't have steaks per say ( T-bone-Strips ) on the menu. But Prime Rib was available everynight. :D Only one night had all you could eat lobster. :D But just about anything else you could think of could be had. She said the appetizers and desserts were the most outstanding things on the menu. 8)
