A little lighter grilled dinner

Postby OSD » Mon Mar 03, 2008 8:12 pm

Picked up a fresh Salmon fillet today at the store. This is one of the wife's favorite meals. :D

Image
Fillet cut into pieces for grillin'

Image
Pieces covered with a salt, brown sugar, & ginger rub. Will let this on for about 1 hour, then shake off the loose excess rub

Image
shook off the excess rub and on to the hot grill

Image
All most done. threw a few peach slices basted with honey on the grill .

Image
Fillet pieces and peaches hot off the grill

Image
Salmon and peaches served up with some pasta with butter and garlic sauce. :D

Excellent job on that Salmon, Jim. I haven't had salmon for several weeks and just tonight after dinner I saw an ad for wild Alaska salmon for $3.00/lb. Will have to make a "salmon run" in the morning!

That touch of ginger in the rub kicks it up a notch. :)

Oh I wish I'd been able to grill our salmon yesterday but it was sleeting when dinner time rolled around. Yours looks so much better than mine did!

I used the grill pan and just drizzled some olive oil and sprinkled with Old Bay. Cooked it and then drizzled a little lemon juice over it.

I'm sorry Larry, but I no longer open your posts!
I'm not a salmon fan, but that sure looked good, especially with peaches and pasta! Yum!
