CSR experiment

Postby bsooner75 » Sun Sep 08, 2019 9:39 am

Tried a little sous vide experiment with country style ribs. I only had time to water bath them for about 4 hours so I set the temps at 155. They were good but could’ve really used a longer soak at lower temps but I didn’t think about defrosting them till the last minute. Rubbed with Sucklebusters Texas Pecan. Finished on the Weber with SB honey sauce. Oh yea, squash and SHISHITOS again :)

Y’all let me know if you can’t see these. Tapatalk isn’t giving me size options. This usually means they app updates incoming after a big IOS update is released.

Thanks Parts.

Note - I used the attachment (paper clip) instead of the usual add photo option. Add photo told me my file was to large.

Seriously, we are prepping for having a little get together this afternoon. Swimming, grilling, Cowboy game etc. I went looking for a little orange electrical plug I use for the TV when we take it outside. Every time I need it I can’t find it.

Wife - what are you looking for

Me - that stupid orange plug

Wife - where’d you leave it last time?

Me - I put it somewhere I’d remember where it’s at when I need it

Wife - that doesn’t ever seem to work out for you does it …

Looking great, Sooner! :chef:

I planted shishitos for the first time this year. I'm hooked. It's a great tasting pepper. :D

I only put 2 plants in this year to experiment. We had too many really wet/ really dry swings here, but I got about 2 dozen peppers harvested and I loved them.

Next year, I'm going to jam in the shishitos in the garden. :D
