Gator,
Got a nice little honey hole out here @ Sundowner. Little sixty acre lake outside of Quitman. Finally have the fish on a pattern, recent cold snap will change that. Last outing pretty productive.
We moved here in March of 06, missed the pre-spawn, spawn activity. Endured post-spawn and drought. The fish are strong and mean. So far the largest bass I have caught here was a little over eight, personnal best is 11.4 with two more over ten. But I think I have found the bigbass highway here, just have to sit on it and see what happens!
BIG SHINERS rule for pre spawners!
We are about fifteen minutes minutes away from Lake Fork.

Well it won't be long and I'll be firin up the pit. Got my hog ham, goat shoulder and goat neck all seasoned up and ready to go. DH bought me some lump charcoal yesterday and I've also got some pecan to go with it. We can't wait for that goat.
