Picanha - version 2.0

Postby Norway Joe » Sat Mar 16, 2019 3:20 pm

Made my second attempt on the picanha today. Was happy with the result. Pulled at 58 c. 2 more than last time and that was better imo. Little less rare but still rare.

Also made some chimichurri.

Since I learned a new word today I made avocado on the grill. Had some EVOO (new word learned today) and SPG on them. Fried some sliced onions in the pan and mixed in some chopped dill. A tablespoon of sourcream in the pit in the avocado, toppe6withe onions and a slice of cured ham on top. Absolutely fantastic.

Also made twice baked potatoes. Oven baked the potatoes in the oven. When ready I cut them in two halves. Scooped out the potatoes which I mixed with SPG, sour cream and shredded cheddar. Put the mix back in the potatoes . My wife said we can't make ordinary baked potatoes more. This was great. The kids agreed so it was a success. Never made this before.

Looks great Mr. Joe. If I would have had more notice I could have brought you a fresh supply of Sucklebuster seasonings.
