Hot and Fast Oink Bonze

Postby OldUsedParts » Sun Mar 03, 2019 4:02 pm

Had a small loin back rack of Babies defrosted along with some wings because I thought my Grand Daughter, he BF and my Grand Son was coming over to eat Lunch and Visit. Welps, turns out that only the Grand Daughter and she arrived early so I fix us some breakfast. She had to head home early because of some Online Courses she's taking so I whooped out some Breakfast taco Pizzas and we had a great visit. Of course it was too short but after she left, I had to cook the Ribs and Wings anyhow. Decided to do the Bones hot and fast and Dry Rib Style on the ECB and they were done in one hour with the I.T. at 180 in the thickest part. Rubbed and Wrapped them in Plastic wrap for an overnighter in the frig. Everything turned out very tasty and we'll be eating some leftovers this week.

This look awesome. Can you tell the difference between honey and yellow mustard as your binder?

Thanks Sooner, I don't think that there's any real noticeable difference but Honey Mustard is all that I use anytime. :salut:

Cooking for ya grandkids, doesn't get better parts. I'm lucky I get to do it every Sunday night. You live well.

Yes Mam, they weren't fall off the bone or heavy smoke tasting but I pulled them when the thickest part was at 181 ?

Haha. Cool. I have to say that both the ribs and the wings look great, but the the boats, yes. I liked putting the rib leftovers in the taco.

Have you permanently shifted from taco shells to boats?

Joe, I'll probably continue using both types of Taco Shells but I really like the texture and flavor of the boats.

P.B. I bet I've owned a half dozen or more ECBs over my lifetime and would continue iffin they were still in business so when this one lays down, I'm going to the WSM like Joe just purchased.
