Postby RSOPNCO1 » Sun Feb 24, 2019 9:25 am

Ok, first shot at beef ribs. Yesterday'd cook was successful. About 5.5 hours(ish) cook them rest 1 hour (Ish) no wrap.
B&B oak briquettes then straight pecan wood. Seasoned like Franklin said slather hot sauce salt and pepper. Not enuff

100% agree on the food, we’ll agree to disagree on other things :)

Question - when you said “not enuff” were you talking about the seasoning? The reason I ask is I’ve done them with the Franklin method and they were good. But I How them HARD with S&P. If you are looking for more I’d recommend Sucklebusters SPG (adds a little garlic) or Meat Church Holy Cow. Done both on beef ribs with great success.

Have not tried 1836 on Beef Ribs but I’d bet they’d be fantastic.
