Picanha..... Take 2!!!
I made a picanha tonight with a ribeye back up just in case the wife didn't like them. Good news!!!! She liked them. She made us some twice basked potatoes to go along with the steaks. We gotta do these more often.

I saw this cut at the grocery store on Saturday, I’ve never seen it or heard of it before your first post. Now I know it’s there and seeing what you did with it, I’m going to have to try it. Yours looks delicious!
Thanks
Thanks

Before you cook it be sure to watch a few Youtube videos by a guy called guga on his Youtube channel "sous vid everything". I have been watching his shows nonstop for the past 2 weeks.

That looks great. Great color. What do you think of the taste?
Made my first on Saturday. Don't think it's as tender as a sirloin but much more tasty.
We call them culotte steak. Different name for the same piece of meat I learned.

The flavor is very beefy. I like the taste better than ribeye. How did you prepare them? Steaks or skewers?

I cooked it as a steak. Served some chimichurri sauce with it. Tasted so good that we will use this cut more often.
A bit hard to get here in Norway though.
You can see it in the culottesteak thread in grillin and chillin'. A bit up from the bottom of the thread.

Winning!
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
