Hatch Chile Smashburgers

Postby bsooner75 » Mon Jan 21, 2019 8:01 pm

Did a seasoning run on the new 22” Blackstone Griddle. Thing cooks like a champ. Still prefer the space on my 36 but this will be awesome for camping and tailgating.

It takes both the small green bottles and full size. Came with the adapter hose. I hate those little bottles. Seems like they have a habit of not shutting off when you disconnect them but they are handy for on the go.

Those look good sooner. I have already give the warden a heads up that there is one of those 22 in blackstones joining the family soon. If I keep her fed like sooner is doing she won't be to jealous.

I did. That was the one less than stellar part. The buns were way too soggy. Told the wife it’s time to start buying a little bit more significant bun.

I’ll tell you this as well. Buy the Blackstone branded accessories. They are really well thought out. I really like the burger press and burger spatula. I’m slowly phasing our the spatulas I bought at a restaurant supply store and replacing with Blackstone. Plus the bundles at Walmart seem to be the best bang for the buck.

It was a Christmas present from my In-laws. They picked it up at Walmart. I was in WM today grabbing the burger press and noticed they had them in stock.

Every time I see a Blackstone, I kind of get an itch for one. I guess I’m going to have to scratch it.

And the burgers are outstanding.
