My O.F.B. is working again

Postby daBertl » Mon Dec 03, 2018 6:34 am

With all the rebuildings in our house, I lost some parts of my O.F.B. which I ordered and received last week. Since that I can use it again, which is very helpful for Sous vide Cooked Steaks.
It is an 800 Degrees Celsius finishing but you can also prepare Steaks without Sous Vide.

Nicely done! I'd love to have a broiler just like it. Closest I can get is a grate placed on top of my charcoal chimney full of lit coal. Lol!

Sorry Sir, this time you are wrong.
Sometimes you should try the other end of the things :laughing7:

This is also a chimney but used as top heater. So you get much more heat because of the lenght of the chimney.

That thing is super cool!!!! I have been seeing a lot of new gadgets like that on the interweb lately. I saw a really cool German made charcoal grill where the heat source was both on top and on bottom. Really cool looking bit of kit!!!

This is just like the new German 'Beefer'. Good looking beef there.

Yes, it is the same ürinciple as the beefer but for me it has the big advantage, that it is much bigger.
The t-bone of the foto would never fit into a beefer.
