First brisket cook since mid summer. Came out pretty good if I do say so. Feels good to be knocking the rust off.
Rubbed with Sucklebuster SPG and 1836. Cooked for about 14 hours with hickory.

Thanks y’all! I can take credit for the brisket. My wife knocked the Mac n Cheese and Fried Okra out of the park.
Not pictured was the chocolate pie and homemade bread pudding we had for dessert.

I didn't see a cold beer in any of those photo's either. Looks like I see some macaroni salad as well, I love me some of that stuff.

LOL - I was drinking an assortment of Odell Brewing beers out of Colorado. It’s good stuff.
My sister brought Potato Salad and Pasta salad from Market Street. They make really good stuff. Got some good leftovers for lunches and taco night this week.

That looks like an excellent meal. Great pictures too. Missed som the most important ones, chocolate pie pictures.
Those briskets ya'll make looks fantastic. Very hard to get hold of briskets here. Looking at those pictured in the forum makes partly up for it.

Looks like you can find the brisket in the bringa cut. The front portion contains the muscles found in the brisket.

That should be possible but there are two problems. We cut the animal a bit differently than you. The other problem is that much of the parts that could be used ends up as burgers or minced meat. I have used chuck and ordered short ribs now. Closest I've been able to come.
