More Hog Waller Honey

Postby egghead » Wed Nov 07, 2018 10:09 pm

Tried out a new rub today on pork steaks, country ribs, and a few gator eggs (bacon wrapped boudain stuffed jalapeños)

Sucklebusters Hog Waller Honey is amazing on pork. I highly recommend it. While you are ordering it, may as well get some Texas Pecan and Hoochie Mama. Texas Pecan is also good on pork and Hoochie Mama is our go to rub for poultry. Don’t forget some SPG for beef.

But I digress, S/B Hog Waller Honey is da bomb - get some.

Great looking grub…I believe I have some pork steaks in the freezer. Might have to try this combo out.

When I did the taste test straight from the container, I thought there was a trace of heat but I couldn’t detect any heat when eating the pork steak I didn’t detect any heat. I asked my main judge and critic (who is also my bride, traveling companion, first and current wife of 45 years, 4 months, and 23 days and has a much more sensitive palette) if she thought the pork steak was peppered. She said it wasn’t peppered at all.

Bringing some to an 87 year old widow at church. She loves me. :D
