Stuffed Pork Loin Chop

Postby OldUsedParts » Tue Sep 25, 2018 8:53 am

Picked up a couple of thick cut Pork Loin Chops the other day with stuffin and grillin in mind. However, the Wiffy wants hers seasoned and broiled so there will only be one "Lonely" Chop over the Kingsford later today.

Started my prep'n, including the stuffing and also the garnish for mine.
Would have used Boudin like Willie did the other day but I didn't want to defrost the huge link at this time just for one Pork Loin Stuffing.
Decided on a stuffin of Jalapeno Cream Cheese mixed with sauteed Green Own-Yawns in Jalapeno Bacon drippins.
The Garnish will be simply sauteed Julie Ann'd Jalapenos and Sweet White Own-Yawn in Roasted Pepper EVOO.
I'll post the finished Plate later.
I'm gonna try and stuff the generous tenderloin as well as the center loin on this beauty.

I let this become way more involved than I should have with all the various techniques. Cooked my Chop 8" over Charcoal at 6 minutes per side, cooked the Wiffy's Chop in the oven broiler but not until the Baked Sweet Tater came out and then her Dinner Rolls went in for 5". Thank goodness for the Nuker that helped keep everything warm come chow time. I also fixed my Plate first and ate before attempting to fix hers. I know it should be Ladies First but this time it was Chef's Choice - - - "with her permission of course" :laughing7: :rose:

That stuffin mix got even better during the grillin - - - WOW - - - I'll be using that again in something  :dont:

Thanks, it's just an aging thing that she deals with daily. Some days are better and some are not.
