Still keeping it simple
Wife and doc say still take it easy but I gotta cook. Although both of them were quick to tell me I can go back to work this week :)
We are targeting November to be able to fire the smoker up and do some big cooks again. In the meantime anything more than a quick grill just wears my butt (and back) out.
Cooked up some chicken breast marinated in Cajun marinade and some Fischer’s sausage for dinner. Side was red beans and rice. All and all a good meal…now let’s see how the Cowboys do tonight :)

Thanks Russ. That really is a good sausage. Muenster is a German town about 45 minutes to an hour from us. Worth the drive for sausage and cheese from time to time.

They have an order form on their website. If you order I suggest you get some Muenster cheese as well.

Great looking grub, Sooner Sir, and that side of red beans and rice has awakened some sleeping taste buds
