Small Steak and small Side

Postby daBertl » Thu Jun 07, 2018 5:08 am

As we stayed in Italy last weekend i bought a Fiorentina, also called Porterhouse Steak at my favourite butcher there.
As a side i made some small turkish peppers stuffed with all i could find :D

The steak looks fantastic. That dutch oven is really cool. I’m super fascinated with cast iron. I assume those raised points on the kid are so you can stack multiple ovens? Really neat.

I think that about how to call it, the whole world is discussing.

I normally say also T-Bone, but the right call is Porterhouse if it has a bigger Filet.
If it has a smaller Filet, it is called T- Bone.
Fiorentina is only the italian name for it.
