Blackstone Bratwurst

Postby bsooner75 » Sun Jun 03, 2018 7:50 am

With the heat here yesterday my primary focus was getting dinner done as fast as I can and getting my butt back in the pool. Not sure why I’ve never used the Blackstone for brats before…I’ll definitely do it again.

Bratwurst were from our freezer stash of Polashek’s Locker Brats from Protivin Iowa. They are the best I’ve ever had. Can’t even bring myself to eat the ones from the grocery store anymore. This was the jalapeño / cheese variety.

Those look great. My Mrs is from Wisconsin, and a cousin of hers brings us brats every year. But they make me boil them in beer before they get grilled. Those folks up in those neck of the woods know how to make brats.

Never a wrong time of the year for good brats. One of my fave foods and those look great. Inglehoffer is great mustard too.  :chef:
