Sirloin steaks

Postby JustinCouch » Fri Apr 06, 2018 4:20 pm

I picked up some sirloin steaks. Anybody have any advice? I have only cooked them once before and I remember them being good. I cooked those like I would cook any other steak.

Reverse sear on your Weber, Justin.

Wild Bill has THE plan but only after you sprinkle them liberally with Suckle Busters Campfire Steak Seasoning (or S&P) :salut:

I like mine cooked on my cast iron pan at high heat for few minutes each side, served with steak Dianne sauce I make myself. Perfect match up. Hmmm, I'm due to do this again.

I’d go reverse Sear if it is pretty thick. If not I’d stoak the lump charcoal to an inferno and toss it on for a couple of minutes on each side. While it rests put some garlic or herb butter on it.

Also like to let it come up to room temp. SPG, 1836 would both be good on it.

Reverse seared with a lump of apple wood for flavor. Also did some asparagus and zucchinis. All seasoned with salt pepper and lavenders.

I can't cook'em on the grill, boot leather. I've got a cast iron skillet with a lid and if I cook it in that with brown gravy mix, they come out ok
