Few cooks today

Postby Sodaking27 » Sat Mar 17, 2018 3:35 pm

Soaked a corned beef point over night to get rid of the saltyness. Applied a rub to make pastrami. Will slice for reubens tomorrow. Next up was chorizo armadillo eggs or lunch, and finally apple pie for dessert.

Cabbage was not used in any of the cooks. I will be using it tomorrow to make homemade sauerkraut. Local grocery had it on sale for .19 a lb.

Cool, I love cabbage steamed as a side. Dash of mint sauce to finish it off. Very underrated vege.

Fantastic looking cool. What all goes into a chorizo armadillo egg? That’s really got me interested

Armadillo eggs are jalapeño poppers wrapped in chorizo. A google search will give all sorts of recipes. They were really good.
