there Y'all go with that "Just word" again - - - there's no such thing as JUST good food ?comprende? - - - - I still think Y'all are using a soldering iron or torch to get those grill marks

Grill grates are a mans best friend while grilling. Not only do they make great grill marks, they control flare ups so no burned food.

I have some of these and HAVE NOT GOTTEN grill marks as of yet

Nope, not real grillgrates. Plus, you need to get your grill grates up to at least 600 degrees. Usually takes us 2 chimneys full.

So, throw them in the oven to preheat and then set them right on top the coal bed. I bet you can get there.

Nice looking steaks Captain!
I don’t use grill grates (I like Wall to wall char) but I have seen enough results that I am a believer. As Outlaw said, you gotta get the actual Grill Grates brand. Night and day difference in the build.
