Monday tri tip!

Postby Txdragon » Mon Jan 22, 2018 7:37 pm

Haven't had a tri tip in a while, day off today says the timing is perfect. Rubbed with some SB 1836 and direct grilled for about 45 minutes. Plated with some off the shelf stuff; jalapeño ranch style beans and some kraft mac n cheese.

Rubbed tip..

Sliced for the party!

Cooked a bit longer than I like, but the wife likes a bit less pink than I. No biggie, it was good either way!

It has become my new favorite. This is my first time using it for beef and it's like I found a whole new gear!! Works great on everyrhing but REALLY makes the cows shine.
