So I get home from work to a pleasant surprise. The wife had done some BB backs for dinner. She did them in the oven, but they were perfect! Served with some homemade southwest corn; corn, onion, pimento, jalapeño, and a shake of parmesan, and some broccoli and cheese. Ribs were rubbed with salt n pepper, slap ya mama then in the oven at 200 deg, covered for 3 hours. She slathered on some Kansas City bbq sauce and back to the oven for 1 more hour.
I'm so proud!!
It was all HER idea!!

If my Wife ever fixed me a plate of food like that, I'd have to have it tested before eating it

At first we would think not either, but I can tell you that years ago, I had gotten some Country Style Ribs and grabbed a bottled rub concauction and did them in the oven at 200 for about 3 hrs. They were hit with Evoo, covered in this ( rub ), hit with Brown Sugar and then laid sliced lemons on top.outlaw wrote:Verrrrrrry nice. When I say they were tasty, it's an understatement. Of course they had no smoke smell or taste, but the trade off was acceptable and I was shocked how good they were.
