Baked some of Ed's Deer Camp Bread today. Nothin' else planned, since work is still up in the air a bit.

I think we are going to go for some more Anchor Bar Buffalo Wings on the grill along with some accompanying various meats for Sundays NFC & AFC Championship games and probably a beer or 3........

I got some steaks for this weekend... those will be good. And the kids tried some tomato soup/bisque with chicken earlier today. I will have to make that this weekend. It was good.

I love a good homemade tomato soup. Post the recipe if you don't mind!

Uh... Open jar. Put in pan. Add cheese. Add chicken. Heat. Sorry, this one isn't going to be quite from scratch - we have some pretty darn good jar stuff that makes things go much faster. And the pre seasoned chicken was cheaper than the regular chicken. So I bought that (like $.99/lb). Although I will probably grill the chicken before adding it to the mix.

But if someone else has a recipe that they use, I would love to see it.

Looks like Chicken Tortilia Soup and Chicken Enchiladas this weekend. Costco had a nice deal on whole chickens, buy two and get 2 free, 4 whole chickens for about $7.

I also snagged extra eggs for breakfast migas. Yum.

All that plus a little Texas Heat!

Aloha y'all,

Not much happening for me in the Pacific Northwest. Be home and just relaxing, maybe watch the games. Food???? Made some chicken and green papaya soup that taste mighty fine for this cold snap. Leftovers of this is better than fresh. Safeway had a sale on chicken thighes (99 cents/#) so I may huli-huli a few tonight....

Take care and have a great weekend...

a hui hou,

Is the tortilla soup home made? If so, you gonna share the recipe???

Have you ever had the tortilla soup at Taco Cabana? I finally tasted theirs recently and it taste very close to the way I make mine.
