I saw this at the TVWB website and thought it sounded good. Instead of firin up the WSM for a few wings I figure I'd cook the wings indirect on the Performer. I had some apple wood chips layin around so I added those on top of the coals for a nice smoky flavor.
Rev Marvins Mustard with Plowboys Yardbird Rub. Ready for the grill
Pulled off the grill ready for the deep fry
Didn't feel like pullin out the Wing It fryer I just added oil to a pot and let 'er rip
Out of the oil and into the sauce. I picked up the Budweiser Wing sauce just to give it a try and it was really good.
Looks like a steamy spirit from the netherworld tryin to get it's hands on my wings
Phew, ok it passed without a wing missing I would say it didn't take long at all to whip these babies up. There was a great mix of flavors including smoky and grilled. The deep fry tightened up the skin and made it edible. Very good! Would suggest doing them come Superbowl time!

I did some up today as well, except I didn't fry them. I cooked mine indirect on the grill til the skin crisped up. while they cooked I whipped up some Anchor Bar sauce and tossed most of them in that. I took 10 and tossed them with some Cattleman's BBQ sauce for the wifey. Let's just say neither lasted long......
Good stuff!!!!

I noticed the other night that they opened a new Wing Stop just around the corner from my Moms house!!!
Wingstop is pricey, but not bad if ya like wings and ain't got time to make'em... try the lemon pepper. Those are my kiddos favorite and I've kinda taken a like'n to 'em myself.

I have said it a few times before, but last time that I went, it cost me $13 for 20 pc cajun, fries and a ranch dressing. Thats getting a little too expensive for me.
But yes, they are the best! And I only order cajun!

That's about right. 2 min or so does the trick without over cooking 'em

I have a WingIt, too! You're the first person, I've ever seen mention using one!
I got mine a couple years back after the Superbowl, they were on sale

Yeppers, mucho $$ for wings... It has become a reward kinda thing for the kiddos since they like'me so much.
The Cajun wings are good! Don't much care for the original hot... We usually get a split order of the lemon pepper and cajun... da cajun ones are all mine since they be too warm for the other family members...
