We were at a joint about 3 months ago, I ordered a similar burger, the brioche was hard and almost unbeatable, I just ate the contents.

Either the bun was stale, or they reheated it in the microwave right before it came out to you.
The microwave option should never be done inho because if u don't eat it in 2 nano seconds it turns into a brick.
Proper, fresh Brioche Buns like this one here are to die for, great choice Dragon !

Thanks all! Brioche is my go to burger bun. Kings Hawaiian is next and ciabatta rounding the tail end.
