Been seeing these on videos lately so I thought I would give them a shot. Came out ok. I used something different than my normal chicken rub and wish I hadn't.

Thanks everybody. Just something fun to try. When I do them again I won't wrap any in bacon. Bacon is always delicious but I didn't leave it on long enough I guess or maybe not hot enough or whatever but the bacon pulled right off when you took a bite. I enjoyed the ones without bacon a whole lot more. Had to try a few though just to see.

Looks good to me Chris!

If you're up for experimenting, try cooking them in a disposable pan with a stick of butter. Right up until you dunk 'em in sauce. Then finish them for about half an hour, directly on the racks.

Believe it or not I almost did that!! Had them in the pan and everything! Just did them that way to see how they cooked directly over the coals in the Pit Barrel. Will do it next time though.

I haven't lollipopped my drums before either. I have stuffed them, but no lollipop. I must try this! Looking good, CI!!
