I think these came out right. Part-nuked for about eight minutes, then finished indirect wrapped in foil outside along with marinated chicken thighs (which were a teeeeny bit tough, may have been the meat's fault again).
For the sweets we used butter, brown sugar, salt, pepper and a dash of soy sauce. They were goooooood. Assorted sauteed garden vegetables on the side: beans, peppers, Swiss chard. Pickle 'n' onyawn.
Oh, yeah...we did it on the gas rig. Okay, nap time.

Sometimes it's nice to press the "easy" button and go with the gas rig. Of course, no smoke flavor.

There are times that I actually wish we could justify a Gas Grill but Wiffy would be unhappy so I have to substitute 120 for my indoor quickies

One good application we have for the gas grill is using it as an outdoor oven when we don't want to heat up the kitchen with our "real" oven during the summer. Also, we've been happy to have it whenever we've lost power, since our indoor oven is electric. Otherwise, It's handy for quickly grilling burgers, hot dogs, steaks, etc.
I hope this list can help you out if you want to consider getting one. We just use a relatively inexpensive store-brand unit from Lowe's with 4 internal burners & 1 external, that I mostly use to start my charcoal chimney.

I've started using ketchup manis which is a sweet soy sauce. It's beautiful. It might have lifted your chicken over the line. Jmho.
Looks good though. Nice sides.
