New Year Shrimp & Scallops
The temp is dropping fast and the wind is blowin' harder as the day goes on. Our first cold snap since last winter. So we decided to grill up some shrimp and scallops.
Shrimp & Scallops soaking in the marinade
All skewered up and ready for the grill
Sizzling on the grill
Hot off the grill
Ready to eat, served with angle hair pasta with butter-garlic sauce & grilled garlic bread
I forgot to put the grilled garlic bread in the last pic.

BW, It's because I live further south than you do and live along the coast where seafood abounds. Mmmm....If you're thinking about stew & chili when it gets cold, maybe there's a little Yankee in you that you ain't tellin' about.
Real reason I grilled today rather than firing up the smoker was I didn't want to fight 20-30 mph winds all day.

Aloha,
Great job ... Jim. You are quite the "chef de grille". Living near the ocean all my life has made me a seafood eater. Never had scallops until moving to the mainland. Come springtime be heading for some serious salmon fishin'! Can't stand that farm raised fish... What da heck do they feed 'em?
In my first month with the forum I have learned "volumes" of info. Mahalo y'all! Can't wait till my pit is delivered!
Take care...
