In a moment of madness, we grill-tested a trio of store-brand frozen burgers.

They were so fatty, the Mini-Q caught fire. I hope it recovers. I hope WE recover; the 'burgers' tasted like Bad 1950s Lighter Fluid Food, and were so full of bone and gristle (turn away if you're sensitive!) that half of them got spit out.

Compared to these, Bubba Burgers are sublime. What a waste of chez slices, pickle, onion, and toasted bun.

Aren't you glad we do these things so you don't have to?

Y'all might should see if you can find a "HBSG" in your neighborhood. I've heard that the after effects of BGB can be "Hideous" Just lean on each other until then.

HBSG = Hideous Burger Support Group
BGB = Burger Gone Bad

Don't think I've ever bought patties, I've always made my own from mince beef then add stuff. But in saying that I've had burgers our where they are commercial made patties, by angel bay.

Only premades I use are from a local meat market. Old Town Market in downtown Lewisville has some pretty good patties but I still only use them in rare occasions. Never for the supermarket kind.

In Carlstadt Nj is the place to order frozen patties, or fresh as well.
Check em out Sailor, not too too far from you and if I had to guess, you've eaten thier product either frozen or fresh from some burger joint.
I just went thru 2 huge boxes of half pounder Angus Burgers for a recent party of 70+ friends and family.
To our surprise, we were constantly bombarded with -- who made those burgers, they were one of the best I've ever had. Nobody believed they were frozen that's how good they were.

Normally, I'd prefer to make my own, but for time and $ concerns we went frozen and I'll do it this way again without a second thought.

Should have talked to me first, been there, done that.

Lol, we bought local butchers patties , kebabs and sausages for BBQ day at the races with my local pub, the patties were meat n onion , there were some leftover so kids coming for burgers tonight. The patties were the best I've had in a long time. I don't know the ratio of the patties though.
