Gators wings seasoning

Smoked/ grilled up some Clucker wings for a party last night
Used SBs wings seasoning for the first time and finished them off with Chipolte BBQ sauce.
Thinking maybe I applied too much seasoning :dont: Bottle said mild but these wings had some kick to them. I had the burning ring of fire this morn and I only had 2. My buddy ate 8 of them....I can only imagine how it went with him this morn :laughing7:

They where darn tasty but next time I will back off on the seasoning a wee bit

I used Cajun rub for the first time yesterday, and I put it on , but opened the wrong end of the container, instead of sprinkle I got the big deposit, might be why I too had a decent hot taste.

Yeah I think we are going to update the label on these and call them "Medium", but it is really somewhere between Mild and Medium...I suppose the Ghost Wing Seasoning would be out of the question?

I ALWAYS do a Fanger Test (NOT a sniff test - - - and I repeat, NOT a sniff Test) before using new dust but sometimes the shaker hand gets too generous. :laughing7:

Yep OUP I don't do the sniff test anymore either. Made that mistake with Gators Cajun seasoning

I think where I went wrong was I didn't pat dry the wings enough before seasoning. Directions on bottle said to put the seasoning in a ziplock bag and then the wings. Shake till wings where fully coated with seasoning.
While these came out of the bag more like the seasoning was caked on the wings.
Don't get me wrong......Gators wing seasoning was a hit. Loved the flavor. Next time tho Ill shake on a nice even coat.

Thanks y'all
Bill

Me thinks it's a Pepper Sauce (Ghost Pepper :angryfire: ) and not a dry seasoning :dont:

We have a Ghost Wing Rub recipe, it has not been produced yet.
