Hey dude, it's the wife's birthday tomorrow ( 5/25 ) and I figured I'd try your Tandoori mix on some lamb and chicken.
You said sweetened plain yogurt ??
I found nothing that specified sweetened.?.?.?...I used regular plain, I hope that's ok ??

I'm gonna indirect grill some on the Akorn with lump and the other half goes in the Big Easy so I'm sure they won't be dry whatsoever.
I'm gonna take em off at 145 and foil for 10/15 minutes.

Anything u think I should abort above ??ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

You are doing it right, I look forward to final pics. Any yoghurt will work, colour looks bang on, I think the wife will like it.

Good to hear !
I was starting to think I was off course but I'm relieved now.
About to get the lump and infared started up. I'll post pics in a bit, success or failure.
As usual, right on track, the weather once again has other plans for us.

Btw loin chops are the best, also the rack, I cut the fatty cap off it leaving only the meat exposed to the yoghurt mix. I know you are a good cook,so I also know you will do it right. Looking forward to your critique.

Appreciate the kind words, even tho I don't feel worthy of that so much lol.
She's so easy going, I could mess up a prime rib and she would be like...it's ok, next time will be better...
Me ??...I would go ballistic and take it pretty hard.

I'm thinking of going 350/400 for 2 minutes each side, then going to the side with no coals wrapped in foil till 140, then let sit 15 minutes on the table ?

Your thoughts ?

I also decide to do ( individual ) instead of a full rack. Maybe that will bite me in the rump, maybe not ??
I just like every part covered and marinated.

The rack I would cut into individual cutlets, my wife would walk over broken glass for her cutlets. I grill mine so how you cook is better in your hands than mine, the yoghurt will blacken in places. That's good. Try not to overcook.

Oooo, lamb.

WV, we probably have similar weather. Looking forward to seeing the results! And HB to Mrs. WV!

(I used that full-fat Greek yogurt. It's getting hard to find, though.)
