Icebox Orphans

Postby OldUsedParts » Thu Jan 26, 2017 1:02 pm

Even tho I try and not let meat and stuff get lost in the freezer, it still happens and today was a day to deal with some of those orphans. I found a pkg of Six 16/20 Shrimp and One Awn-Dew-E link plus the remains of an awesome jar of Jerk Sauce that needed introducing to the Shrimps. I mixed up some Jerk Sauce and Pineapple Juice and marinated the Shrimp in that for several hours.

Stuck them on some K-bob poles along with sweet capsicums and pineapple. Fired up some ?Lump? in the Kettle and started the Grillin Stage, adding the link of sausage, which took about 10 minutes.

Mixed up some Pico, Roasted Pineapple/Habenero Sauce and Pineapple chunks. Plated it all with some pickled okra and began my quest.

Everything was spot on and I gave it my all but I maxed before the plate was clean. :whiteflag:

thanks, Pard, it really fit in with the Jerk Sauce taste and the Andouille didn't object at all
