Boudin - what to stuff?

Postby bsooner75 » Tue Jan 17, 2017 10:49 pm

So I still have some boudin in the freezer. We really like the way the bacon wrapped stuffed pork loin turned out. Now I am looking for ideas on what else I could stuff with it. Any ideas?

Wrap in Wanton wrappers and deep fry. Serve as an app with a good pepper jelly.

Butter fly some boneless chicken thighs and roll it around the boudin. With a nice spicy bbq sauce that would ROCK.

Now im hungry and am going to have to get some boudin bootlegged in by someone. :)

I have rolled it up in a fatty with pepperjack cheese. Just skin it right before you roll it up... And bacon wrap, of course!

My next planned version is to flatten the boudin, lay on top of the cheese and sausage, then stuff that fatty with shrimp! Next time the Boyd's special comes around!! https://www.facebook.com/boydsonestop/posts/1434150973285231?notif_t=notify_me_page&notif_id=1485277020575180#

well, I had planned on giving this last big link of Boudin to my Grandaughter but thanks to Sooner and Co. - - looks like I'll be stealing one of these recipes as well  :salut:

those wings really have my attention - - - I've opted for fried Boudin Patties instead of Balls as a side for my grilled Jamaican Jerk Shrimp with Pineapple Pico tomorrow :chef:
