Season salt, pepper and garlic powder rubbed into a steak and brought to room temp before grilling.

Oh, and NO SAUCE !!!!!

EDIT: Smoked, I'm headed to the store this weekend and buying about 40 peppers for some ABT's! Mmmmmm.... Can't wait! Gonna try some goat cheese this time too.

Buy good steaks and don't put anything on them until they are on the table....with the possible exception of butter.

For me, it's garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and a little paprika. No sauces necessary.

I didn't vote because it depends on my mood which one I use. Sometimes I make a marinade using wooster, garlic salt, pepper, and onion powder. Other times, I use Adobo seasoning or some other concoction I make up.

depends on the type of steak... A good ribeye or strip just gets course salt and fresh cracked pepper right before hitting the grill... Something like a flat iron gets a marinade, usually fajita...

Salt and pepper a cow and walk it through a warm kitchen.
