Rubbed with Safflower oil and dusted with grillin' spice mix

Just on the grill

About half way through-started basting with garlic butter and white Worcestershire sauce mixed

Almost done - got in a hurry and messed up the skin on a couple of them

Small pot of red beans and rice - I can make a meal out of just these

OK, ready to eat. :D :D

Yep, did them indirect except for the last 5 min, I did them direct just to crisp up the skin. :D That's when I messed up the skins by hurrying and and being careful when I turned them.

mmmmmmmmmnnnn, Chicken leg quarters are my favorite!! That's the one cut of chix that I like to char the skin with bbq sauce!! Where the sugar kinda sticks to your teeth after munching the skin!!

Laura, I love legs and wings as you described. My bbq sauce is a thick consistency, perfect for dipping chicken pieces into and then throwing back on the heat for a few to caramelize the sugars. That's how my parents always did it and while I've developed my own sauce, it's still the best way to use it.

That chicken is making me hungry!!
