I hear ya, the thing I really feel bad for is the cashier who he flashed the gun at. Thing is he came in and stole the bb gun before he went to the register. I talked to her dad after the event to be sure she was OK, he said she was OK, but still shaken up.

Doing that down here would have got him an extra 20 years mandatory on top of the other charges. Hope she is OK, not something you want to have happen to anyone.

They reported he "could get" up to 99 years, but we all know what that means........

Florida got tough on this. It's called 10-20-life.
If you threaten that you have a gun--it's 10 years mandatory--full term to be served after you have served the time for the other charges.

If you branish or point a gun-20 years mandatory

If you fire the gun or shoot someone--It's life in prison.
